ISLAMABAD, Apr 14, (APP): Federal Minster for Science and Technology, Rana Tanveer Hussain on Wednesday said the government has made the import of machinery for Halal food industry as duty free.
Addressing a ceremony organized by Ministry of Science and Technology and USAID, he said the Halal food industry could play a constructive role to strengthen the country’s economy.
The minister said after the establishment of Halal Food Authority in Pakistan would help to regulate the import and export of food items in Pakistan.
