Sharif Family rebuts news item regarding submission of new documents in Panama case

ISLAMABAD, Dec 6 (APP): The Sharif family spokesman on Tuesday clarified news item aired by different TV channels saying that the Sharif family had not submitted additional documents regarding Panama Papers case in the Supreme Court after November 30.

Some television channels aired news that the counsel for Hussain Nawaz had submitted documents which showed that Park Lane apartments were purchased in 1990s or before 2006.

The Sharif family spokesman termed the news item totally absurd and clarified that no additional documents were submitted before the court in that regard.

He said that the documents submitted on November 30, consist of sales deeds of flats and these documents showed only that these flats had been purchased 20 years ago and the value of those four flats was œ 1.9 million.

Those documents were submitted on the directions of honourable court and that amount equals 100th part of amount claimed by PTI chief Imran Khan in his statements.
