ISLAMABAD, Oct 17 (APP):Federal Minister for Water Resources, Faisal Vawda has said Prime Minister Imran Khan had a competent team for speedy development of the country.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government was committed to improve the system for making ‘a prosperous Pakistan’, and concrete measures were being taken in that regard, he said talking to a private news channel.
He said all the ministers and members of National Assembly were striving to steer the country out of crisis.
The minister pointed out the PTI government having one-thirds majority in the parliament and it was effectively performing for economic stability of the country as the nation had reposed confidence in the party’s leadership.
Pakistan People’s Party and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) had one third majority during their respective regimes but they did not deliver to the masses, he added.
To a query, Faisal Vawda said accountability should be done across the board against corrupt elements without discrimination.
Whenever PPP or PML-N leaders were apprehended by National Accountability Bureau (NAB), it was termed as the threat to democracy, he observed.
