Pak Uganda enjoy cordial relations: Irfan Siddique

ISLAMABAD, Aug 19 (APP): Special Assistant to the Prime
Minister for National History and Literary Heritage Irfan Siddique
Friday underlined the need for expanding existing relations between Pakistan and Uganda
to boost bilateral trade and economic growth.
Irfan Siddique said this during a meeting with Vice President
of Uganda Edward Ssekandi, said a press release received here from Kampala. They
discussed matter of mutual interest during the meeting.
Irfan Siddique said that Pakistan and Uganda are on the same
page on different issues in the United Nations, CommonWealth and other international
fora which reflects mutual understanding of the two countries.
He also conveyed the good will message to the Vice President
of Uganda by Pakistani leadership.
Vice President Uganda warmly welcomed Irfan Siddiqui and said
that Uganda gives great importance to its relations with Pakistan.
Edward Ssekandi said Pakistan was making progressing under the
leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif which is source of pleasure for us.
Honorary Counsellor for Pakistan Dr Katatomba, Chairman
Pakistan Association of Uganda Shahid Alvi and other office bearers
including Amjad Ali, Tariq Javed Chattha, Sami Ullah Cheema and
Chaudhry Zafar Iqbal were also present during the meeting.
