Ombudsman presents annual performance report to AJK President

MUZAFFARABAD, Mar 26(APP)::Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) Ombudsman Zaffar Hussain Mirza has presented Annual Performance Report 2018 to AJK President Sardar Masood Khan here on Tuesday.

Presenting the report, Zaffar Hussain said that department has received some 482 complaints in the year 2018 among which 475 have been disposed in addition to pending complaints.

He informed that overall 957 complaints have been addressed. He said that some 163 complaints have been closed down after initial hearing as those were out of the jurisdiction of ombudsman.

The ombudsman office received double complaints in 2018 as compared to previous year and all the complaints were disposed of according to rules and regulations giving prompt relief to complainants.
