BISP’s funds increased to Rs 107 bln to alleviate poverty: Marvi

ISLAMABAD, Apr 14 (APP): Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) Chairperson Marvi Memon said the programme’s funds have been increased from thirty-three to one hundred and seven billion rupees to alleviate poverty.

In an interview with Radio Pakistan, she said various schemes are being implemented under the programme to financially empower five point two million females.

She said women from far-flung areas can sell their products online under “climate smart village programme.”
