Gilani, Bush to hold wide ranging talks Monday |

Jul 26 (APP): Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani and US President George
Bush are scheduled to meet in Washington on Monday (July 28). US Vice
President Dick Cheney will also attend the meeting, to be held at Oval Office,
where the two leaders will have a wide ranging exchange of views on bilateral
matters and regional and international issues of common interest.

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Ms. Sherry Rehman on Saturday said
development and democratic dividend will be the main focus of Prime Minister
Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani’s discussions with the US leadership. “This is very
important visit, as it is after many years that a democratically elected Prime
Minister of Pakistan is visiting the United States”, Sherry told newsmen at the
Chaklala Airbase.

low-intensity blasts rocked crowded areas of Indian city of Ahmedabad this
evening. In the

four persons on Friday afternoon.

Indian troops fire on LoC in Batal Sector: ISPR |

RAWALPINDI,
July 26 (APP): Indian troops resorted to unprovoked firing on the Line of
Control in Batal Sector (Rawalakot) between 1000 to 1100 hours on Saturday. According
to ISPR, the fire was immediately responded by own troops and the locations
were effectively engaged from where the fire was being received. Resultantly
the fire stopped.

ordered to use the Computerized Electoral Rolls 2007 for future elections. The CEC
ordered to use these Rolls, both for the conduct of Elections to the National
Assembly as well as Provincial Assemblies constituencies.
