Dossier on rights abuses in IOK handed over to British govt

ISLAMABAD, Oct 15 (APP): Pakistan’s High Commissioner to
UK Syed Ibne Abbas has handed over the “Dossier on Human Rights Violations in Kashmir” to Owen Jenkins, UK’s Special Representative on Afghanistan and Pakistan (SRAP) at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO).

The dossier contains details of gross human rights
violations in the Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) by the
Indian occupation forces, a message received here from London on Saturday said.

The high commissioner highlighted the plight of the
Kashmiri people and sought the United Kingdom’s assistance in  putting an end to human rights abuses in IOK.

Owen Jenkins received the dossier and expressed that the
UK government upholds the human rights as a priority
and will raise the issue of violations with the concerned.
