RAWALPINDI, Sept 12 (APP): Azadi Train will resume its journey to remaining cities of Punjab after Eid-ul-Azha on September 15.
The train arrived at Rawalpindi Railway Station on Sunday midnight after visiting Khyber Pakhtunkhwa except Kohat, Sindh, Balochistan and most of the cities of Punjab.
According to the schedule, the Azadi Train will depart for Wazirabad on Thursday and continue its journey making stops at Sialkot, Chawinda, Pasroor, Kila Subha Singh, Narowal, Badomalhi, Narang and Kasur stations.
In the last leg of its jouney, the train will travel to Kohat on September 26.
According to senior officials of Pakistan Railways, more than six million people across the country visited historical galleries and over eight million witnessed open cultural floats set up on the carriages of Azadi Train since August 11, when the Azadi Train embarked on the journey.
