ISLAMABAD, Oct 16 (APP):Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sahibzada Noor-ul-Haq Qadri Tuesday expressed the hope that the issue of additional Saudi Arabian Riyal (SAR) 2,000 Umrah fee on second timers would be resolved soon.
Speaking in Senate Standing Committee on Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, the minister said the issue
has already been taken up with the Saudi authorities including Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman.
It merits mentioning here that the Saudi government had imposed an additional fee of SAR 2000 for those who performed hajj in either of the past three years and still wish to perform the holy sojourn in the current year. The government has asked Saudi authorities to waive off the additional fee.
