Govt taking solid measures for development of Balochistan: CM Jam Kamal


ISLAMABAD, Oct 25 (APP):Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan Thursday expressed that the provincial government was committed to provide all basic facilities to masses at their door step and in this regard various projects were underway.
Talking to a news channel, Jam Kamal revealed that during the last five years, only Rs 400 billion were earmarked for Balochistan in PSDP budget which were not sufficient to meet the needs of the province.
He said all the problems of the province would be addressed gradually. He said the government was taking solid measures and focusing on alleviation of poverty, setting up new educational institutions, improving health sector, producing new jobs for youth, besides imparting skilled and technical education. Balochistan was rich in natural resources, having huge potential for the foreign investment specially in gas, oil and mining sectors, he added.
To a question, he said the anti state elements would not be succeed in their nefarious acts. The environment was very conducive for foreign investors and the present government was taking keen interest in the development of Balochistan, he said. He said it was the collective responsibility of all political parties to protect the national cause and fight against the enemies.
