LAHORE, Oct 31 (APP): Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz (PML-N) beat
Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) even in its strong-hold Mansoora (UC-112) in the local government election here Saturday.
The PML-N fielded Naveedul Haq Kiyani for the slot of Chairman of UC 112
(Mansoora), while the opponent JI and Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf (PTI) pitched Amanullah as their joint candidate for the same seat.
However, the PML-N grabbed the UC 112 Chairman slot as its candidate
Naveedul Haq Kiyani, according to unofficial and inconclusive result, secured 3,585 votes against the JI-PTI candidate Amanullah, who secured 3315 votes.
