Unsuccessful Hajj applicants asked to avoid approaching ministry as no parliamentarian has any quota: Yousaf

ISLAMABAD, May 11 (APP): The unsuccessful applicants of
Government Hajj Scheme should avoid approaching the Ministry of
Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony for inclusion of their
names in the scheme on Parliamentarians’ quota.

Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar
Muhammad Yousaf in a statement said that the ministry had already
allocated its available quota of 69,534 to the applicants in a
transparent balloting.

No quota had been reserved for senators, members of national
as well as provincial assemblies on the directives of Prime
Minister, he said.
