ISLAMABAD, Sept 1 (APP): Adviser to the Prime Minister on
Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz Thursday visited the Embassy of Italy to express condolences over the loss of life and property caused by August 24 devastating earthquake.
Sartaj Aziz, while recording his views on the Condolence
Book at the Embassy, said, “I am deeply grieved at the loss of life and property caused by the devastating earthquake that struck mountain villages in Rieti region of central Italy on
24 August 2016.”
“As a country that suffered the worst earthquake in 2005, we understand and share the loss of the Italian people
due to this natural calamity.
“I offer my condolences to the bereaved families and
pray for the speedy recovery of those injured,” he wrote.
