ISLAMABAD, Aug 7 (APP): Minister for SAFRON Lt General ®
Abdul Qadir Baloch Sunday said people were not interested in any protest or movement against the government as they had confidence on PML-N policies.

Talking to PTV, he said staging protest against the government was the democratic right of any political party but it was also important to see whether there was any need of such a move or not.

He said Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) had launched the movement to send an elected government home.

The minister said it was right of the opposition parties to criticize government policies and give guidelines for good governance, but they should not adopt this practice for their personal agenda.

He said the masses had given mandate to Pakistan Muslim Nawaz (PML-N) in General Elections 2013, for a five year term and they would hold accountability of the government in 2018 through votes.

Qadir Baloch said continuous victories of PML-N in elections held in three years in GB, AJK, Cantonment Boards and by-elections were evidence of the fact that people were satisfy with the development agenda of the government.

First time in the history of the country, China had made a huge investment under China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) in Pakistan and all political parties should play their role for its completion, he said, adding the project would bring development and prosperity in the country.

He said the government was working on electoral reforms to bring more transparency in the election system.
