NA offers prayers for PM’s early recovery


ISLAMABAD, May 31 (APP):The National Assembly Tuesday offered prayers for Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif early and speedy recovery who under went open heart surgery at London.

Sher Akbar Khan led the prayers on the request of Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq.

Speaking in the House, Chaudhary Bashir Mehmood Virk said Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was not only his leader but the entire country’s.

He said May Allah Almighty blessed him with sound health and recuperate soon to lead the country.

Maj (R) Tahir Iqbal said that the illness of PM should not be
politicized adding presently he needed prayers only.
Ali Muhammad Khan said that PTI chief Imran Khan offered good wishes for the early recovery of the Prime Minister.
He prayed that may the Prime Minister come soon and assumed his responsibility.

State Minister for Parliamentary Affair Sheikh Aftab Ahmed
prayed for speedy recovery of the Prime Minister.

He said Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was a great leader and he was direly needed to come soon and carry forward his vision for socio-economic development of the country.
Haji Ghulam Ahmed Bilour said Allah Almighty has gifted
several qualities to Mian Nawaz Sharif being a leader of the
country, a good human being and a brother.

He said that he was the most popular leader among the masses of the country.

Sheikh Salahuddin congratulated the family of Prime Minister
on successful operation of open hearth surgery on Mian Nawaz Sharif.

Muhammad Nazir said that Nawaz Sharif was not only leader of Pakistani nation but the entire Muslim Ummah.

Rajab Ali Baloch said that well wishers and lovers of Nawaz
Sharif from across the world prayed for early recovery of the Prime Minister. May, the PM return soon and stride the country on road to progress and prosperity.

Ghulam Rasool congratulated the family of Prime Minister,
Parliament and whole nation on successful surgery of Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.

Dr Darshan said that only Nawaz Sharif could lead this country forward. He said that minority community also prayed for early recovery of the Prime Minister.

Sahibzada Yaqoob, Ayesha Syed, Maulana Jamaluddin, Maulana Amir Zaman, Haji Sha Jee Gul Afridi, Faizul Hassan, Shakeela Luqman, Maulana Qamaruddin and Chaudhary Ashraf also prayed for speedy recovery of the Prime Minister.

Later the House was adjourned to meet again on Friday at
evening for budget session.
