ISLAMABAD, May 5 (APP): Federal Minister for Commerce, Khurram Dastagir Khan Thursday highlighted the promising prospects of economic growth, investment and employment, as the major hurdles in the way of development have been removed.
Terrorism and shortage of energy were two major blocks in the way to sustainable growth and improvements have been made on both these fronts, hence new era of growth, investment and employment is expected, the minister informed the Senate Standing Committee on Commerce which met here under the chairmanship of Syed Shibli Faraz.
The Minister said that industry was now being provided uninterrupted electricity and gas.
