ISLAMABAD, Dec 4 (APP): Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif has offered to mediate between India and Pakistan over the Kashmir
issue and lower the ongoing tensions.

“Iran is a close friend of India as well as Pakistan. We would
like the relations between our friends to improve. We are ready to
do whatever we can, if both our friends so desire,” the Hindu quoted
Zarif as saying during an event in Delhi before his proceeding to
Amritsar where the Iranian FM would attend the Heart of Asia
Conference.

He noted Iran’s excellent relationship with both neighbours.
Zarif also expressed the readiness to minimize the ongoing
conflict between Pakistan and India.
