Govt increasing S&T funds to meet 21st century challenges: Rana Tanvir

ISLAMABAD, Sept 28 (APP): Minister of Defence Production, Rana Tanveer Hussain on Wednesday said intolerance is growing towards minorities in India, asking world community to take notice of ongoing Indian atrocities in Held Kashmir.

The Minister, who is in Baku, Azerbaijan to attend ADEX-2016, had a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Yaqub Ayyubov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Elmar Mammedyarov and Minister of National Defence, Fikri Isik.

During his meetings, Rana Tanveer Hussain discussed avenues and possibilities of cooperation in production of defence products and specially mentioned Super Mushak and JF-17 for sale.

Earlier, the Minister visited different stalls at the exhibition and discussed possibilities of joint production.

President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev also visited stall of Pakistan Aeronautical Complex and was briefed about JF-17 Thunder fighter and Super Mushak. He took keen interest in Pakistani products.

He also explained Kashmir situation and highlighted ongoing Indian atrocities in Kashmir.

He said hundreds of innocent people have been injured by Indian Army by firing pellet and requested to raise the voice for Kashmiris at international forums.
