ISLAMABAD, Nov 29 (APP): Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Tuesday welcoming new Chief of Army Staff Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa, hoped he would continue on the same policy against terrorism and law and order situation in Karachi.
FPCCI Vice President Riaz Khattak, in a statement, said outgoing
Army Chief General Raheel Sharif had rendered remarkable services, especially eliminating the terrorism from the country.
The Karachi operation, he hoped, would till its logical end
that the economic hub would be restored properly.
He said Pakistan today was much safer and stronger than 2013
after initiating the operation Zarb-e-Azb. The FPCCI always stood
behind with the government and the armed forces for restoration of
the peace and prosperity in the country, he added.
