RAWALPINDI, June 2 (APP):- An art play “Ishq Daim” was staged under auspices of Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC) to provide neat and clean entertainment to the families of twin cities.
The play was written and directed by William Pervez which was representative of human feelings reflected bitterness of life and human behavior.
Member National Assembly (MNA) Aasiya Nasir was Chief Guest while Resident Director RAC Waqar Ahmed was also present on the occasion.
The story of the play revolves around a woman whose husband left her on the day of wedding and came back after 40 years.
Remorse and love reflects in her conversation.
Both the characters describes incidents comprising bitterness of past during 40 years of separation but her husband remains in circle of male chauvinism and slaps his wife
suspecting on her character which left deep in her mind and soul and she left him forever.
The main characters of the play were Reaha Yousaf, Zabir Sarhadi, Shahzad Mughal, Amanat Munto, Naveed Malik, Javed Bhatti and Sajid Saju.
The play “Ishq Daim” presented by “Pattan Lok Nattak” was appreciated by the audience.
Aasiya Nasir addressing the participants appreciated the effort of the writer/director and said “Ishq Daim” was a bitter tragedy of our society.
