PM for enhanced Pak-Nepal bilateral relations

ISLAMABAD, May 15 (APP):Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi Tuesday expressed the hope that bilateral relations between Pakistan and Nepal including cooperation in the defence sector would be further strengthened.
He was talking to Chief of Army Staff of Nepalese Army General Rajendra Chhetri, who called on him. Minister for Defence and Foreign Affairs Khurram Dastgir Khan and senior officials were also present during the meeting, PM Office Media Wing said in a press release.
During the meeting, matters pertaining to bilateral relations were discussed.
The prime minister said Pakistan had always endeavored for friendly relations with all the regional countries and to maintain peace in the region.
He said Pakistan had rendered huge sacrifices in the war against terrorism both in economic terms and loss of precious lives.
The Nepalese army chief conveyed warm greetings of the prime minister of Nepal Khagda Parsad Oli and appreciated the high level of professionalism of Pakistan military and acknowledged their sacrifices in the war against terrorism.
