ISLAMABAD, Apr 27 (APP): Former leg spinner Abdul Qadir on Wednesday questioned the wisdom of appointing Inzamamul Haq as Chief Selector instead of making him the Pakistan team’s batting coach.

“Pakistan Cricket Board is unable to pick the right man for the right Job”, Qadir told APP. “One can easily see that batting coach’s job would best suited Inzie who has been one of the greatest ever Pakistani batsmen”.

He said “we all know how the green shirts performed in the Asia Cup and World Twent20 and where they lagged behind (batting). “I appeal to the PCB Patron in chief to kindly intervene and appoint some cricketer who can run the board in a better way. “If matter won’t be sorted out now then the
future of our cricket is not bright,” he said.
