Ex, current cricketers full of praise for Babar


ISLAMABAD, Oct 6 (APP): Former and current cricketers have praised the green-shirts for their superb 3-0 victory over West Indies in the ODI series and have also admired batsman Babar Azam who has taken the cricketing world by storm by scoring three consecutive centuries.

Babar scored 120 runs in the first ODI while hit a magnificent
123 and 117 in the second and third ODI respectivly. The Cricketers took the social networking website (Twitter) to congratulate the youngster.

Former Twenty20 skipper Shahid Afridi tweeted, “Babar is a
special talent. Three 100s in a row, what a performance”.
Former off-spinner Saeed Ajmal said heartiest congratulations to team Azhar Ali for winning the series and for the stylish 100.

“Babar and Muhammad Nawaz have been incredible through out the series.”

Former pacer Shoaib Akthar said after three fantastic centuries by Babar what is left for Pak team to clean sweep the series and get back into ranking grove of the International Cricket Council (ICC).”

Batsman Kamran Akmal congratulated Ahar for his brilliant 100 and praised Babar for three centuries. “Very well played Babar, you have done it again. Congrats for your third 100,” he said.

Opener Muhammad Hafeez said simply classic three consecutive 100 in three ODIs.

Pacer Sohail Tanveer said well done Babar. “Knew centuries
will keep coming but that quick, three in a row, just wow. Well done to Azhar too for his 100,” he tweeted.
