32 militant killed so far in Waziristan operation: ISPR |

TANK June 20 (APP): Residents
of Tank are nowadays witnessing heavily armed contingents of Pak Army and
paramilitary forces, heading towards South Wazirstan to flush out the
Baitullah Mahsud led Taliban militants which has created wave of terror
across the country. According to ISPR 32 alleged
militants have been killed so far in recent strikes in Servikai sub-division of
South Waziiristan. Launching ground of offensiive is said to be in Manzai and
Jandola FC forts, sources said.

Agency and adjoining North Waziiristan are sensing a high profile military
action pursuit of Baitulllah Mahsud and Al Qaeda element after President in his
recent visit to US had wowed to fight terrorism in all its forms.
It may be noted that prior to
offensive exit and entry point and the main Jandola- Wana which also lead to
Mahsud areas of Ladha and Servikai subdivisions has been cleared from the
local Taliban militants.
Local sources including
intelligence officials said that a day back four Pakistani aircrafts also
covered the troops movement and reportedly insecurity prevailed everywhere
following these jets bombed out suspected hideouts of Taliban in Kund Serai (Tehsil
Tiarza), Barwand and Servikai areas of Mahsud tribe.
It is also reported that armed
forces have fanned out in different parts of the restive region to monitor and
keep vigilance on militants movement, It is worthy to mention that during
past few weeks dozens of families have fled area before the launch of a
decisive military action .
