Country progressing under PM’s leadership: Siddiqul Farooq

LAHORE, Aug 2 (APP): Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader and Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) Chairman Siddiq-ul-Farooq Tuesday said that Lahore Orange Line Train is a mega project which will provide modern, respectable and safe transport facility to people.

Talking to APP, he said the PML-N government had served people selflessly and this journey of public services would continue in future also.

“The projects of buses and trains are as important as schools and hospitals,” he said.

The train project is for common people and such projects are necessary to help people save their hard-earned money, he added.

He said that there is a need to implement the welfare projects for the common man in order to give them an economic boost.

Siddiq-ul-Farooq said that the elements criticising public welfare projects had no interest in progress and development of the people. Hundreds of thousands of people are reaching their destinations on time through metro buses daily, he added.

Farooq said that the PML-N government had adopted the golden principle of hard work, honesty and dedication to move forward.

He said that such a prosperous Pakistan will be created in accordance with the vision of the Quaid-e-Azam, where there is supremacy of law and justice and equal rights are available to all citizens without any discrimination.

He further said that this was a fact that the prime minister was the only political and popular leader of the country who has the vision to development the country in the changing times.

The PML-N government was completing public welfare projects at a high pace and transparency and resources had been diverted to the less-developed areas.
