PCF coach to attend course in New Delhi


LAHORE, Dec 5 (APP)- Pakistan Cycling Federation has nominated Najeeb ur Rehman from SSGC to participate UCI Level-I training course at UCI World Cycling Training Centre New Delhi from December 19 to June 26, 2017.

“The training will help in improving skills, techniques, knowledge and
experience of Najeeb,” said Secretary, PCF, Azhar Ali Shah here on Monday.

He stated that all expenditure will be borne by the UCI. “We have the
good relations with world cycling bodies including UCI and Asian Cycling Confederation for the cause of promotion of our cycling,” he added.

“In the past three coaches and riders were granted opportunity of free
training in the world cycling centre South Korea which was availed by Col. Rizwan of Pak Army, Nisar Ahmed of KP and Haroon Rashid of WAPDA,” said PCF official.

He further informed that PCF is committed to provide best training
facilities to its riders and coaches at national and international level and that in this regard PCF will arrange a training course for PCF commissaries at Islamabad for which a contract will be made with a UCI qualified International Commissarie. He informed that application to grant visa to Najeeb has been submitted to the Indian High Commission, Islamabad.
