ISLAMABAD, Dec 13 (APP):Parliamentary Secretary for Railways Farrukh Habib on Thursday strongly rejected the allegations of opposition over National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and said it was an independent institution and no one was allowed to interrupt in its domain.
Talking to a private news channel, he said NAB was working according to the law and it opened all those cases that were filed in the tenure of the former government.
He asked opposition particularly PML-N to avoid planting propaganda against incumbent government and support the process of accountability which is going smooth and without any discrimination.
Responding to a question regarding former information minister Maryum Aurangzab he said,” if she is not involved in any corruption then why she is crying and putting allegations against government”.
He said Parliament was an appropriate platform for legislation and required amendments adding that opposition parties should come to Parliament and use it for any amendment.
He suggested to opposition parties that “if they are serious to resolve the public issues then they must follow the proper way and use the Parliament to address all their concerns”.
