Nisar takes strict notice of professional beggars in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD, Aug 3 (APP): Minister for Interior and Narcotics
Control Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has taken strict notice of the presence of professional beggars in the federal capital.

According to Interior Ministry, the minister had asked for an
explanation from the police and said the professional beggars could be involved in acts of terrorism besides other crimes.

He said needy people should be handed over to relevant welfare organizations and non-governmental organizations, while strict action should be taken against professional beggars.

He said in case of negligence in future, the district police
chief will have to explain his position on the issue of beggary.
