Leaders stand behind PM in giving befitting response to India’s aggressive designs

PESHAWAR Oct 3 (APP): The leaders of the mainstream political parties Monday expressed their firm resolve and determination to the government in giving matching response to Indian’s adventurism on Line of Control (LoC) as the conclave passed on a clear message across the border that, irrespective of political affiliations, all are united and any attack on Pakistan’s soil would get befitting and stronger response.

The politicians and lawmakers of KP termed the parliamentary parties meeting called by Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif as timely and positive step in order to evolve a joint response on Kashmir issue and the situation on Line of Control (LoC). It was also aimed at warding off possibility of misadventure by the India on the eastern border and LoC.

The Prime Minister presented the whole scenario to the participants of the meeting about the emerging situation on LoC and government’s endeavours to meet the growing challenges effectively besides taking the national political leadership into confidence.

Sardar Aurangzaib Nalota, Parliamentary Leader of PMLN in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly when contacted told APP that the Prime Minister has taken a very bold step by giving matching response to India’s aggressive designs and the today meeting would help evolve joint strategy of all religious political parties on Kashmir issue and situation arising on LoC.

He said that Kashmir issue was boldly highlighted during all the three tenures of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and the recent address of PM Sharif at UN General Assembly was received well in international circles and even in India.

He said Modi government was suffering from war hysteria and has put the peace of entire region at stake, adding any surgical strike on LoC would prove disastrous for India.

The PMLN leader urged the Indian leadership to respond positively to Pakistan’s peace overtures as announced by the Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz sharif during his landmark address at United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) as it would benefit the entire region besides ending the unrest prevailing in South Asia due to India’s stubborn attitude.

He said that Kashmir was the unfinished agenda of partition (of Sub continent) and peace in South Asia could not be established till the resolution of this core issue.

Vice Ameer of Jumaat e Islami Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Noorul Haq when contacted said PM has taken a right and positive step for inviting religious political leadership of parliamentary parties on Kashmir issue that would help evolve joint response on this core issue and the emerging situation on LoC.

He said this moot has passed a very strong message to India that 120 million people of Pakistan and our armed forces were ready for defense of their motherland.

Warning India to refrain from any misadventure, the JI leader said that entire nation was ready to defend their country against any foreign aggression.

He said that people of the country would not desist from making sacrifices for sovereignty and survival of their motherland.

Haq said that people of Pakistan are on the same page with its valiant security forces to defend the country, saying any wrong decision on part of India would lead to its dismemberment.
