Canada doubles trade with Pak : CHC Heather Cruden

ISLAMABAD, May 6 (APP)- The outgoing High Commissioner of Canada,
Heather Cruden has said that her country had doubled its trade with Pakistan exceeding $ 1 billion due to viberant and prudent economic policies of the present government.
Talking to APP here Friday, Cruden flying back home on Saturday after
serving for three years as high commissioner in Pakistan, appreciated the efforts of Pakistan’s Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif for heavily investing in infrastructure and energy sector.
Cruden in a message to the people of Pakistan said,” Believe in
yourself, in your resources, but also look at the long term challenges because they are there and to me they are pretty scary”. Pakistan is facing many issues and challenges and Canada will continue providing assistance in future, she added.
