Anti state elements to be eliminated: Musadik

ISLAMABAD, Oct 25 (APP): Spokesman to the Prime Minister Dr. Musadik Malik Tuesday strongly condemned Quetta incident and said the whole nation was in grief.

Speaking in a news channel programme, he said Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had ordered an investigation of the Quetta attack and that the elements involved in the incident would be brought to justice.

Musadik Malik terming the incident as a cowardly act, said terrorists
were now limited to soft targets like this one as there was a visible decrease in such activities in the country.

He said the government was standing on its resolve that anti state elements would be chased wherever they were and would be eliminated from the soil.

He said civil and military leadership was determined to root out terrorism and extremism from the country and effective measures were being taken in this regard.

Pakistan had always opted for peace in the whole region and wanted long lasting relations with neighboring countries including Afghanistan and Iran, he said.

He said China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) was a project that would provide access to regional countries to Central Asia, adding peace was vital to realize the dream of regional connectivity.
