Incumbent Chinese Consul General calls on Governor Punjab

Newly appointed Chinese Consul General to Lahore Sun Yan called on Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan at Governor House Lahore, on Tuesday.

LAHORE, Mar 17 (APP): Newly appointed Chinese Consul General to Lahore Sun Yan called on Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan at Governor House Lahore, on Tuesday.
The Governor congratulated the newly appointed Chinese Consul General and expressed his best wishes.
Speaking on the occasion, Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan said that there is an unbreakable bond of trust and love between Pakistan and China. He said that both countries have supported each other in every difficult time. He said that President Asif Ali Zardari played a key role in CPEC.
He added that between 2008 and 2013, President Asif Ali Zardari paid 14 official visits to China. He further underlined the need to foster partnerships in research between Pakistani and Chinese universities.
He said that Pakistani students are preferring to pursue higher education in China, adding that there should be more exchanges of delegations between China and Pakistan in the fields of education and business.
Chinese Consul General Sun Yan said that Pak-China cooperation will continue at all levels in the future. The bilateral relations between Pakistan and China will be further developed in various fields.
