SARGODHA, Mar 25 (APP): Commissioner Sargodha Division, Hafiz Shaukat Ali on Wednesday distributed appreciation certificates among officers and price control magistrates in recognition of their outstanding performance during Ramazan in ensuring public relief and effective price control.
According to the spokesperson for the Commissioner’s office here, the ceremony was attended by Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue), and other senior officials.
The Commissioner appreciated the efforts made to ensure timely and transparent delivery of benefits under the Nigehban Ramazan Package, including Ramazan Dastarkhwan and ration cards for deserving people.
Speaking on the occasion, the Commissioner said that millions of citizens benefited from relief measures through transparent distribution of the Nigehban Ramazan Package, “Maryam ke Mehman” Ramazan Dastarkhwan, and ration cards.
He commended the role of departments including Transport, Local Government, Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA), and other relevant institutions for their commendable performance.
He reiterated that public relief remains the top priority of the Government of Punjab and directed that monitoring of price control mechanisms should continue on a daily basis.
He also stressed the need to accelerate reforms in revenue and administrative affairs.
The Commissioner concluded by affirming that the spirit of public service will be maintained and that officers demonstrating excellent performance will continue to be encouraged and recognized in the future.
