ISLAMABAD, Jul 28 (APP): Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP), Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan, has called for the formal integration of e-gaming and sports into the national career landscape, emphasizing their growing relevance in the digital economy.
He expressed these views while chairing a meeting with a delegation of the British E-Sports Federation at the Prime Minister’s Office.
Speaking on the importance of adapting to technological advancements, Khan underscored the need to promote education in animation and real-time effect gaming.
“Game development has become a rising industry, and Pakistan will encourage and support the ecosystem of e-games in the country,” he added.
The chairman reiterated his resolve to ensure global e-gaming opportunities for the youth, which would not only help them thrive in gaming careers but also contribute to strengthening their mental health.
