Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday said brutal beasts killed innocent children in Army Public School Peshawar on December 16, 2014, and the enemies of peace and humanity committed worst barbarism.
In a special message issued here in connection with the 2nd anniversary of martyrs of Army Public School Peshawar, the Chief Minister said the innocent children laid down their precious lives for a great cause and their blood had resulted in achieving the great objective of setting up of peace due to which the entire nation became united in the war against
terrorism.
He said due to supreme sacrifices of martyrs, the nation displayed exemplary unity in the war against terrorism.
He said the sacrifices of martyr children gave a new courage and determination to the nation and promoted a new spirit in the war against terrorism.
Shehbaz Sharif said the martyred children and teachers were heroes of the entire nation, adding that every drop of blood of great martyrs was debt on the soil which would be paid with complete eradication of terrorists from the country.
He said the war against terrorism was reaching its logical end due to supreme sacrifices of Shaheed children.
With the support of the nation, the motherland would be made free of terrorists and the country would be made a haven of peace, he added.
He said there was no room for terrorism and extremism in Pakistan of Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
He said the aim of setting up of a society based on moderation and forbearance would be achieved at all costs.
He said today, the entire nation was paying tributes to the sacrifices of martyrs of Army Public School Peshawar.
Shehbaz Sharif said December 16 would always remind of supreme sacrifices of martyrs of Army Public School Peshawar and the nation could never forget their sacrifices.
