PM to implement his vision of prosperous Kashmir: Kirmani

ISLAMABAD, Dec 15 (APP): Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Political Affairs Dr Syed Asif Saeed Kirmani Thursday said Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif would implement his vision of a prosperous Kashmir by carrying out mega development projects.
He was speaking at a reception arranged here to celebrate the victory of Pakistan Muslim League(N) in the elections of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and to congratulate new members of Kashmir Council.
He said the Prime Minister would visit Azad Kashmir soon and announce development projects.
The development programme of the Prime Minister would go beyond
expectations of people of Azad Kashmir, he added.
Kirmani said Nawaz Sharif has vision of a developed, prosperous and bright Kashmir, adding PML(N) achieved unprecedented victory in Kashmir polls due to the message of Nawaz Sharif and untiring efforts of the party workers.
Pakistan Muslim League(N) would fulfill all the promises made with the people during the election campaign, he added.
He said Prime Minister was deeply involved in the execution of development projects in the country.
He assured that Pakistan would completely get rid of electricity shortages by end of 2017.
He said workers were asset of the party and assured that they would get due place in party and would be given positions in the next local government.
He said PML N set an example of good governance in the present
tenure of three years and there was no case of corruption.
A similar model would be followed in Azad Kashmir and
corruption would not be tolerated as money should only be spent on
the people of Kashmir.
While mentioning the chaotic scene created by PTI during the National Assembly session on Wednesday, he said PTI was not aware of
parliamentary norms.

Kirmani said Imran Khan got a mandate to serve the people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but he wasted months in a sit in, adding Imran Khan lost an opportunity to resolve problems of people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Kirmani said Imran Khan was throwing tantrums and in his pursuit of power, worked against the interests of Pakistan.
He criticised Bilawal Bhutto for claiming he could become PM in 2018, saying Bilawal Bhutto was too young to get the post as according to the constitution, one has to be 35 years old to become chief executive of the country.
Asif Kirmani congratulated Sardar Abdul Khaliq Wasi and Chaudhry Muhammad Siddique for becoming members of the Kashmir Council.
He said both the new members were workers of the party and remained committed to the party for long years and played a crucial role in building the party in AJK and bringing it to a winning position in the polls.

They said PML N registered an unprecedented victory in the legislative assembly elections of Azad Kashmir as people voted for the vision of development of Nawaz Sharif.
