IESCO notifies power suspension programme
ISLAMABAD, Mar 06 (APP):The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Friday issued a power suspension programme for Saturday, in various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.
According to an IESCO spokesperson, in Attock Circle, electricity supply would remain suspended from 06:00 a.m. to 02:00 p.m. for Khan Abad, Small Industries Estate, Pour Miana, Lala Rukh, Dudwal-I, Dudwal-II and Garhi Afghan feeders.
Similarly, in GSO Circle, power supply would remain suspended from 08:00 a.m. to 06:00 p.m. on 132-KV Chakwal–Bhagwal–Talagang and 132-KV Kahuta City–Palandri transmission lines, while from 09:00 a.m. to 02:00 p.m. electricity would remain suspended on the 132-KV transmission line of New Wah–Bahter More and adjoining areas.
The IESCO management apologized to consumers for the inconvenience and said that power supply might be restored earlier than scheduled if the maintenance work is completed ahead of time.
