ISLAMABAD, Mar 26 (APP): Iranian Ambassador, Dr. Reza Amiri Moghadam, called on Federal Minister for Communications, Abdul Aleem Khan here Thursday to discuss the current regional situation and matters of mutual interest.

During the meeting, the federal minister expressed his profound grief and condolences over the martyrdom of Iran’s Supreme Leader and the significant loss of life and property resulting from recent events, said a press release.

The Minister remarked that the Pakistani nation pays a rich tribute to Iran and its people, noting that over the past 26 days, Iran has set a new example of courage and bravery. He emphasized that the hearts of the entire Muslim Ummah beat in unison with Iran and conveyed a message of goodwill, expressing hope for a brighter and better future for the brotherly nation.

Iranian Ambassador, Dr. Reza Amiri Moghadam, thanked the Federal Minister for his prompt message of condolence and expressed his gratitude to the great Pakistani nation for its support. He stated his firm belief that, just as in the past, Iran would once again be blessed with victory.

The meeting also featured a detailed discussion on various trade and bilateral issues between Iran and Pakistan. Both sides reached an agreement to further strengthen Pak-Iran relations across different sectors and to promote enhanced mutual connectivity.
