Provincial Minister Rana Manan Khan highlights Pakistan’s development,  prison reforms

Saudi Arab-Jeddah, Jan 06 (APP):Jeddah-Punjab’s Provincial Minister Rana Manan Khan has said that Pakistan has firmly embarked on the path of sustainable development and prosperity, and the country is moving forward with a clear vision for progress and institutional improvement.
He said this while addressing the dinner hosted by PML-N Saudi Arabia leaders Chaudhry Munir Ahmed Gujjar and Rana Abdullah Rajput.
Khan, who is Chairperson of the Chief Minister’s (CM) Task Force on Prisons, highlighted that the provincial government is actively working to improve facilities for prisoners in jails, ensuring better living conditions, access to basic amenities, and respect for human dignity.
He added that reforms are underway to modernize the prison system in line with international standards. The minister further said that strengthening governance and improving administrative systems remain key priorities of the government. He lauded the excellent, friendly relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
Earlier, the function began with the recitation of a few verses from the Holly Qur’an by a senior journalist, Ahmed Fawad Khan Swati. A large number of league officials, workers, leading figures of the Pakistani community, Pakistan Investors Forum, and media representatives were also present on this occasion. The Central General Secretary and Focal Person Prime Minister Youth Program, Malik Manzoor Hussain Awan, businessman Chaudhry Bello Sher Warrish, and Chaudhry Munir Gujjar also addressed and congratulated Rana Manan Khan on achieving the privilege of Umrah and paid tribute to his excellent services for the PML-N.
The chief guest, Rana Manan Khan, thanked Malik Manzoor Hussain, Chaudhry Munir Gujjar, and Rana Abdullah Rajput for arranging the dinner in his honor.
Khan specially described the excellent performance of the Punjab Chief Minister and said that soon all the problems will be overcome under the leadership of the PML-N. He added that the Narowal Sports Complex is beautifully constructed. There are 14 stadiums and sports courts, including cricket, football, hockey, volleyball, squash, table tennis, lawn tennis, badminton, and swimming pools.
He thanked Federal Minister for Planning & Development, Ahsan Iqbal, for his special initiatives in providing the best platform for the country’s youth.
