FAISALABAD, Mar 21 (APP):Divisional Commissioner(DC) Raja Jahangir Anwar on Saturday visited the Child Protection & Welfare Bureau (CPWB) on Eid-ul-Fitr,spending festive moments with orphaned and destitute children.
DC celebrates Eid with orphaned children at CPWB
FAISALABAD, Mar 21 (APP):Divisional Commissioner(DC) Raja Jahangir Anwar on Saturday visited the Child Protection & Welfare Bureau (CPWB) on Eid-ul-Fitr,spending festive moments with orphaned and destitute children.
On the visit,DC raja cut a cake,distributed Eid gifts and toured food stalls set up by the children,commending their efforts and inquiring about their well-being.
Speaking on the occasion,he said Eid was a festival of collective happiness, and true joy comes from sharing it with the underprivileged.
He also lauded CPWB management for providing a nurturing environment and reiterated the administration’s commitment to child welfare.
District Officer Child Protection Rubina Iqbal and social figure Dr.Jaffar Hassan Mubarak were present.
