FAISALABAD, Nov 08 (APP): Both Pakistan and South Africa have made two changes each to their lineups for the crucial third and final One-Day International (ODI) of the ongoing series, set to be played at Iqbal Stadium on Saturday.
For Pakistan, pacers Naseem Shah and Mohammad Wasim Jr. have been rested, with fast bowler Haris Rauf and leg-spinner Abrar Ahmed rejoining the playing XI. The team management explained that the changes were made to balance the attack and inject fresh energy into the squad for the decisive match.
On the South African side, debutant Robin Hermann replaces Sinethemba Qeshile, while Lungi Ngidi comes in for George Linde. The visitors are expected to rely on their deep batting lineup and disciplined pace attack to challenge Pakistan on home soil.
Pakistan’s final XI for the match includes Fakhar Zaman, Saim Ayub, Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Salman Ali Agha, Hussain Talat, Mohammad Nawaz, Faheem Ashraf, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Abrar Ahmed, and Haris Rauf.
South Africa’s lineup features Lhuan-dre Pretorius, Quinton de Kock, Tony de Zorzi, Matthew Breetzke, Robin Hermann, Donovan Ferreira, Lungi Ngidi, Corbin Bosch, Bjorn Fortuin, Nqaba Peter, and Nandre Burger.
With the series tied at 1-1, the final ODI is expected to be a thrilling contest as both teams look to secure a series victory in front of a passionate Faisalabad crowd.
