ISLAMABAD, Nov 16 (APP): Pakistani cueists continued their winning streak on Day 2 of the IBSF Snooker World Cup 2025, with Muhammad Asif, Muhammad Hasnain, and Asjad Iqbal securing victories in their respective matches at Muscat, Oman.
According to details, Asif dominated Gebby Putra of Indonesia 3-0, winning the frames 78-38, 73-6, and 89-19. Asif followed up with another convincing win against Qasim Albalushi of Oman, winning 3-0 (80-1, 75-31, 83-3).
Hasnain also had a strong performance, defeating Samer Althaher of Jordan 3-0 (69-0, 80-0, 67-6). However, Hasnain’s winning streak was halted by Ali Gharahgozlou of Iran, who won 3-1 (71-27, 1-74, 96-4, 61-47).
Iqbal secured a 3-0 win over Fred Wagner of Luxembourg (74-32, 83-7, 124-14), showcasing his impressive skills on the table.
