Sharjeel announces launch of a new EV bus route

KARACHI, Mar 16 (APP):Sindh Senior Minister for Information, Transport and Mass Transit Sharjeel Inam Memon has announced the launch of a new EV bus route starting tomorrow.
He said that the Transport Department is introducing a new eco-friendly EV bus route from Tuesday. A large number of citizens are expected to benefit from this initiative.
He stated that the new electric bus route will operate from Gulshan-e-Maymar to Tower, covering a distance of 32 kilometers. This route will provide residents of Gulshan-e-Maymar, Surjani Town, and surrounding areas with easy access to the city center. The launch will offer modern, comfortable, and affordable travel options to millions of Karachi residents.
The Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon emphasized that the Sindh government is taking practical steps to provide quality, environment-friendly public transport, more routes of EV bus service will also be introduced in the future.
He further said that improving public transport in a big city like Karachi is among the priorities of the government, modern electric buses are part of the same vision of the Pakistan Peoples Party leadership and the Sindh government.
