HYDERABAD, Mar 09 (APP):A sanitary worker died while cleaning a manhole in Chaang village in the limits of Hatri police station here on Monday night.
According to the police, 45 years old Nadeem Balmiki probably died because of carbon monoxide poisoning.
The local residents pulled him out from the manhole in unconscious condition and shifted him to Liaquat University Hospital where he was declared dead.
The deceased was a resident of Liaquat Colony area who made a livelihood from sanitary work.
The local people told the police that he was not wearing safety gear while cleaning the manhole.
