Police chalk out traffic plan for Yom-e-Ali

HYDERABAD, Mar 09 (APP): The Hyderabad district and traffic police have finalized the traffic management plan for the upcoming Yom-e-Ali on March 12.

The police spokesman informed here on Monday that the central procession would emanate from Karbala Dadan Shah around 1 pm.

The procession would pass through St Mary’s square, Bohri bazar, Karachi hotel, Society Chowk, Lajpat road, Station road and Kohenoor square before culminating at Qadam Gah Moula Ali (RA).

According to him, all the roads and streets intersecting the central procession would be sealed for the movement of traffic.He told that even pushcarts and cabins would not be allowed on the route.

The police urged the people to avoid unnecessary movement in the city in view of the traffic management plan.
