HEC officially approves launching MS programme in SBBU Nawabshah

Through the dedicated efforts and student friendly policies of Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Madad Ali Shah, the Higher Education Commission (Islamabad) has officially approved the launch of an MS programme in the Department of Media and Communication.
This approval is not only a prestigious honour for the university but also a golden opportunity for students wishing to pursue advanced studies in journalism and media.
The initiative will expand access to higher education in central Sindh, enabling students to benefit from quality research and advanced learning within their own region.
The Approval and NOC has been requested from the Sindh Higher Education Commission and the programme will formally commence once the Sindh Higher education Commission’s NOC or official approval will be granted.
On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Madad Ali Shah congratulated the department’s faculty members Dr. Yaseen Morijo, Dr. Aftab Madani Memon and Dr. Dastaar Ali Chandio. He emphasized that media and mass communication is a highly important and influential field in the modern era, directly shaping the intellectual, social, and political trends of society.
BV said that the approval of MS programme will promote academic and research activities at the university, while providing students with excellent opportunities to develop skills in research, analysis, and practical journalism in line with contemporary demands. Such programmes not only enhance the reputation of institutions but also raise the overall standard of education in the country.
