Governor, State Minister discuss religious affairs, interfaith harmony

The Governor of Sindh Muhammad Nehal Hashmi met with the Minister of State for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Kheal Das Kohistani at the Governor House.

KARACHI, Mar 17 (APP):The Governor of Sindh Muhammad Nehal Hashmi met with the Minister of State for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Kheal Das Kohistani at the Governor House.
     The Minister of State for Religious Affairs congratulated the Governor Muhammad Nehal Hashmi on assuming office.
The meeting included discussions on religious affairs, interfaith harmony and other matters of mutual interest. They discussed joint measures to promote religious tolerance and brotherhood in the country.
They also emphasized spreading the message of unity and harmony during the holy month of Ramazan.
     “The participation of people from different religions in Iftar reflects Quaid-e-Azam’s vision of Pakistan,” the Governor Sindh said.
     Hashmi said that followers of all religions in Pakistan have equal rights under the Constitution. He further said that interfaith harmony is national unity and the true strength of Pakistan.
