Dr. Zia-ul-Hassan Shah appointed Pro Vice Chancellor of SAU Sub-Campus Umerkot

HYDERABAD, Mar 09 (APP):Professor Dr. Zia-ul-Hassan Shah has been appointed as the Pro Vice Chancellor of Sindh Agriculture University Sub-Campus Umerkot.

According to a notification issued by the Universities and Boards Department Sindh, the appointment has been made on the orders of the Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah.

Dr. Shah has been appointed for a term of four years, which will commence after the completion of the tenure of the outgoing Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Jan Muhammad Mari.

According to the SAU spokesperson, Dr. Zia-ul-Hassan Shah obtained his PhD from the University of Agriculture Faisalabad. He is currently serving as a Professor in the Department of Soil Science at Sindh Agriculture University.

Besides his academic responsibilities, he has also served as Advisor to the Vice Chancellor and Director of the ORIC (Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization) at the university.
