Controller of Examinations dismissed from service over manipulation

The Sindh government has dismissed Controller of Examinations Anwar Aleem Khanzada from service over alleged manipulation of Matric and Intermediate results and the issue of fake certificates at Mirpurkhas Education Board.

KARACHI, Mar 31 (APP): The Sindh government has dismissed Controller of Examinations Anwar Aleem Khanzada from service over alleged manipulation of Matric and Intermediate results and the issue of fake certificates at Mirpurkhas Education Board.

Muhammad Ismail Rahu stated that an inquiry report prepared in February 2026 proved large-scale tampering in
SSC and HSC results against the Controller.

According to Provincial Minister for Universities and Boards, Muhammad Ismail Rahu, Anwar Aleem Khanzada neither responded to the show-cause notice nor appeared for a personal hearing, after which his dismissal was carried out under E&D Rules.

He further informed that in Mirpurkhas, 1,068 Matric and 1,471 Intermediate mark sheets and certificates from 2021
to 2025 have been cancelled.

The Provincial Minister added that investigations are also ongoing against other officers and agents involved in this matter.
